Why your gift matters

Compass Bible Institute exists to equip Christians to do the work of ministry. Every course is built on the conviction that Scripture is inerrant, sufficient, and authoritative, and every student is trained inside the life of a local church rather than apart from it.

Tuition does not cover the full cost of that training. We are committed to making biblical education affordable and accessible. That is made possible through partners like you who generously give because they believe in the importance of training people to know God's Word.

  • Student scholarships Removing the financial barrier for students called to ministry training.
  • Books and curriculum Placing serious theological resources in every student's hands.
  • Faculty and visiting instructors Bringing pastors and academics into the classroom to teach the Word.

Stock and other assets

Gifting appreciated stock allows you to avoid capital gains tax while earning a charitable deduction. Contact finance@compassinst.org for transfer instructions.

Qualified charitable distributions

Donors age 70 and a half or older may give directly from a retirement account without paying tax on the withdrawal. For those 73 and older, IRA gifts made directly to the Institute can count toward the required minimum distribution.
