Coming in February: An Equipping Weekend on Jonathan Edwards with Dr. Don Westblade
Compass Bible Institute’s 2027 Equipping Weekend will bring Dr. Don Westblade of Hillsdale College to Aliso Viejo from February 26 to 28 for a weekend on Jonathan Edwards and American Puritanism.
Edwards was a pastor and theologian at the center of the First Great Awakening, and his preaching and writing still shape how Christians think about revival, the affections, and the glory of God. Dr. Westblade will give two lectures on Edwards and the Puritan world he came from. On Sunday afternoon, he will close the weekend by preaching one of Edwards’s sermons in Puritan dress.
