The Fall 2026 Semester Is Underway
The fall semester at Compass Bible Institute began on Monday, August 17, 2026. Students returned to the classroom in person in Aliso Viejo and online, and a new cohort of One-Year Bible Program students began their year in the Word.
A new One-Year Bible Program cohort
This fall, One-Year Bible Program students are taking Old Testament Survey, Biblical Interpretation, Christian Worldview, Theology 1, and The Great Awakening, which includes a one-week study trip to the East Coast to study the revivals that shaped American Christianity. In the spring, the cohort will continue with New Testament Survey, Personal Spiritual Disciplines, Theology 2, Apologetics, and Paul's Missionary Journeys, which includes a two-week study trip to Greece and Italy.
Learning that serves the church
Alongside the One-Year Bible Program, students are taking courses toward certificates and the associate and bachelor's degrees, and men preparing for church leadership are training in the Pastoral Ministry Training Program. Every course is taught by pastors and scholars, many of whom are actively shepherding in local churches.
Looking ahead to spring
The Spring 2027 semester begins on January 18, 2027, and the application deadline is January 11. Whether you want to take a single course or begin a full program, now is a good time to request information or start your application.
