In the Studio with BiblicalTraining.org

This spring, Compass Bible Institute had the privilege of hosting BiblicalTraining.org in our studio for a series of course recordings led by several respected evangelical scholars.

Founded by Bill Mounce, BiblicalTraining.org exists to provide accessible, high-quality theological education for the church. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner in that mission by providing a space for the production of new teaching resources.

The recording sessions featured three distinguished scholars, each contributing lectures in their area of expertise.

Carmen Imes, Associate Professor of Old Testament at Talbot School of Theology, recorded a course on Exodus, helping students understand the theological significance of God’s covenant and presence with His people.

Douglas J. Moo, Research Professor of New Testament at Wheaton College and widely recognized for his work on Pauline theology, taught on 1 and 2 Thessalonians, offering careful exposition of Paul’s teaching on perseverance, holiness, and the return of Christ.

Miles Van Pelt, Professor of Old Testament and Academic Dean at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, recorded lectures on Judges, tracing the theological patterns of sin, judgment, and deliverance within Israel’s history.

These sessions reflect a shared commitment to the clarity and authority of Scripture. By supporting projects like this, Compass Bible Institute continues to serve the broader church while reinforcing our mission to provide serious Bible training.

We are thankful for our partnership with BiblicalTraining.org and for the opportunity to host faithful scholars who are equipping believers around the world.
